Spot gold today is slightly over $4,000 / oz. So that 1 oz. Liberty Bell, priced at $20,000 was 5x spot! The article says all 3 sizes were sold out within an hour (even at those prices) but largely because of the limited quantities.

I guess you could say the US Mint has gone into the "Limited Edition" business.

Some will go into collections and others will undoubtedly show up on the aftermarket at still higher prices.
