My Convention Trading Experience..

I have been to 5 conventions since 2009, and have attended 3 trading sessions during that time. For disclosure purposes, the last trading session I attended was back in 2015 or 2016.

In all 3 all those ‘trading’ sessions, I openly heard money exchanging between parties to balance out trades or just outright selling. I didn’t personally witness money exchanged in the trading area, but words of ‘settling up’ later were prevalent, despite numerous announcements in all capital letters of NO SELLING ALLOWED.

Because of these observations, I honestly don’t blame the Club or the dealers for wanting to limit the public trading sessions..
