The MoGH has 501(c)(3) Status
In Response To: Re: CCGTCC and the MoGH ()

The MoGH is not independent of the CCGTCC, it is a part of the CCGTCC. Think of it as a department in a company. Since the CCGTCC has 501(c)(3) status, then the MoGH has 501(c)(3) status. Donations made to the CCGTCC or the MoGH are tax deductible. What has been discussed is that the MoGH might get better recognition in the museum world and attract more interest if it was an independent organization. Interest, let's say from government officials or donors, in financing for our projects.
