The official wording is that the MoGH is "an educational project of the CCA". The MoGH functions as a committee of the CCA. The MoGH has committee members that are called directors. Donations made to the Building Fund and thereafter to the MoGH are accounted for separately from the CCA, but the CCA and MoGH funds are in the same bank accounts. The MoGH is not at all separate from the CCA. If the MoGH decides it wants to fund a new exhibit, first the MoGH will vote to approve and then the CCA board will vote to approve any expenditures. Regardless of what you call the MoGH and the MoGH board of directors, practically the MoGH is a committee of the CCA and the MoGH board of directors are committee members.
