After reading all the comments, I believe...

that this is a printing error, not a sun/UV light fading issue.

The Black plate was off (registration error), but only affected the black ink used to print the letter "A" and "GOLD CHIP PLAYER", and not the green "B".

The green "B", to me, only looks like it is misaligned.

I would consider this to be an error chip, as opposed to a variation, HOWEVER, unless they were pulled out by Quality Control (or the casino), there should be additional examples, as inlays are printed on a sheet and then cut out, and put into a bucket for the Inlay Operator to grab some and place them on the chips before pressing.
