OK, so much for my theory, looks like I'm wrong
In Response To: FOUND IT.. ()

Thought the colors were connected with the FOOD! Green for Prime Ribs of Beef, another color would have gotten someone a Free Dinner but, say, chicken, another color for pasta, etc., etc. That way they could count the chips at the end of the night and determined exactly what entrees had been given away free. As I remembered - sure were a lot of wild colored chips in use! Joel, thanks for bringing that photo back. Emilio - can you add anything as to why so many different chip varieties? Even one color for one day of the week - doesn't fit.
