Yep, that would be Cooky - and at the right time

where the price matched the ashtray! Funny thing - that particular vendor knew about the Chuck Wagon, although he thought it was in Los Angeles. I think Midway DID add a few restaurants during their existence but all were down in the San Diego area? Something about that restaurant brings back fond memories with so many people!

The vendor also offered ash trays for a variety of Nevada casinos. They were all pretty but at $5 each, a bit pricey to buy in quantity. And, remember, I was hobbling around with a cane and didn't want to load down my bag with glassware at the very beginning of my walk.

Thanx for posting that Midway sign photo. Classic!!!!
