Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen!

I'm going on a road trip August 16 - 24 to go see the Total Eclipse.

Staying in Rexburg Idaho for the event. Otherwise I've got overnight stops planned on the way up there in Ely, Elko, and West Wendover NV. 3 nights dry tent camping in Rexburg, ID. Then 2 nights in Wells, NV on the way back. (I figure 2 nights in Wells, as I'll have broken camp in Rexburg and driven a long way with several stops in Idaho, arriving in Wells late at night. Don't want to have to leave after only a few hours sleep for a long drive the next day...)

I have a "side day trip" planned from Rexburg to Jackson WY, up through Yellowstone, back out by way of West Yellowstone MT and down to Rexburg ID. About a 300 mile loop. Not a great way to see the sights. But I can't walk much anyway, so the side hikes I did 35 years ago when I last visited are off the menu this time. Perhaps a stop at Old Faithful, if they've got it turned on for the day.

When I get to Wells I'll decide if I have enough energy and gas money to extend the trip in the Winnemucca direction, or drive straight back home to Las Vegas.

So I ask for suggestions for where to stop and visit, Good Food, Casino's to collect chips from, things to avoid Etc.
