Re: Are these Brazilian monetary units chips/plaqu

Casinos in Brazil were forbidden to work in the late 1940s. Because of this it is very difficult find chips or plaques of Casinos Brazilians. I have a few chips. I know of no casino that has this inscription "Club". On the monetary value stamped, these cards are the period 1900 to 1940 (when Brazil's currency changed from RĂ©is for Cruise).

The gambling were banned on April 30, 1946. But beyond the Casinos there were many private clubs that offered gambling tables.

It is possible that some of these plaques are Private Club.
