Are these Brazilian monetary units chips/plaques ?
In Response To: New Brazilian BankNotes ()

There is a huge boxed set of Mother-of-Pearl chips/plaques in Florida with the following denominations:

Rs5:000$ ("CLUB" on reverse)

1:000$

500$

I know of the set for some 20-years... but the new owner knows nothing about them.

Any idea when this unit was used?

Could also be denominated in Indian Rupees
The woman who owned them said S.America, somewhere
Wiki says for amounts of one million Reais ~~~
I'm now very curious where "CLUB" was in Brazil grin
