A Sahara Tahoe $100 Lucite Paperweight...

This Lucite paperweight holds a Sahara Tahoe $100, identifiable as TCR-N1232. While TCR only lists a cancelled version of this chip (N1232.c) this entombed version is not cancelled, but has certainly sustained damage from the chemical reaction of the Lucite. One side of the chip proves difficult to see the hat and cane mold, while the other side fairs well enough to tell that it is a long cane version (LCV).

(glare is from camera flash and the green tones are reflections from the 14-sided Lucite block)

This is a welcome addition to my modest collection of paperweight chips, and I owe it to another collector who emailed me to say that it was on eBay , as a BIN and at a good price!

Thank you my friend!

Jim
