ChipTalk was where I first heard about oiling...

I undersatnd why it is done, but just wanted the newbies here, that tend to be more into the onsies, twosies of collecting, to know that oiling is not recommended, as it moves a chip away from manufactuered-state. Just as handling and use at the casino will also affect a state change. But yes, your chips, your choice, but do be carefull with that chisel!
