Jim, about "oiling"...

I use Mineral Oil, which in fact, is Baby Oil with no odor.

After cleaning the chips with TSP Non Phospous, the color usually fades and I oil them only to get the Colors to Come Alive again. Using the chips, if you play enough, will also do the same thing. Many will never oil their chips.

I actually like the feel and ability to shuffle them without oiling them.

The key here is to make sure you wipe off all excess oil after it soaks into the chips at least 24hrs. Then after they dry for a Month or so they are fine. I never Label a chips right after it has ben oiled.

It's really a personnal preference as to oil or not to oil. I would recommend trying a few to see if it's for you.

Not oiling saves a tremendous amount of time!!
