Michael, my first reaction is that...

this all-in-one is a bit pricey, IF your intent is just a scanner. But the price is in-line with many all-in-one units. However, the imaging element of the device is not CCD, it is CIS and therefore will not do the "hot" colors. While that may not be a big deal, you will find that many Paul-Son $5 chips (red ones) will scan as reddish-pink and NOT red.

On the Technical Specifications tab from your link I saw this:
