Michael -- EPSON has a cheap scanner (the V30??)

that does a great job at capturing the correct colors & it's fairly inexpensive (link http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/jsp/Product.do?sku=B11B193141 ). If you wait, it'll probably come back up for sale -- I think that I spent $60 for mine which was a refurbished model. Easy to use & does do a great job on the colors. What you will find is that the "all-in-one" printer/scanner/copier machines do not get the bright colors correct. I have an EPSON all-in-one unit that I paid quite a bit for & doesn't even come close to the V30 for colors.
