Re: NCR Borders closing
In Response To: NCR Borders closing ()

Hi,
I love a real book as opposed to e-reading. If my Ipad or reader loses power or breaks or my memory gets erased somehow I'm left with nothing. I want to take a $10 book to the beach and read it instead of my $200 - $700 electronic device.
The real problem I have with e-books is that in my opinion they should be cheaper - much, much cheaper.
No paper, printing, ink, binding, packaging, shipping and delivery costs. No inventory to stock and no overhead of brick and mortar stores. They are saving a fortune and consumers seem to be reaping none of the savings. I'm very dissappointed with this whole trend.
