Most of my book purchases over the past few years have been casino/history related (Imagine that! ).

Sometimes I want to refer to something that I've read, but can't remember what book I read it in...does Kindle have any kind of search feature to find words or phrases in the downloaded books? Also, if there's a picture in a book, does it show up in the Kindle version? And is there a way to "scan" the picture for uploading to the chipboard, or publishing in the quarterly magazine (formerly known as CCTN)?
