The Chicago piece reads at the top CHEUNG (Good) Luck. The center figure is ING five.
The numeral 5 is the most informal version of the 5. I know of at least three versions.
The 5 on your chip is the kind used by waitresses, laundry shops etc. This probably makes
this a 5c chip as opposed to a $5 chip, as this would bear a more complicated denomination.
