A note for Mr. Poole's eyes....

Mike (and everyone else looking vbg ),

Can't recall where I got this tattered note, and while I doubt it has any real value, I've been more curious as to what it's purpose was. Denominated in pesos, issued by the Japanese and printed in English (as well as Japanese) I can only guess it was used during WWII in Japan Occupied South Asia (perhaps the Philippines). What say you, please?
