My confusion is the difference in markup percentage. The % markup on a $1 is much higher than all other denimonations. Going by this principle a live $100 chip (value $110) is "only" worth thirty-seven $1 chips (value $111), a live $25 chip = ten live $1 chips & a live $5 chip = 2-3 live $1 chips.
I'll accept that the harvesting of chips has a cost associated with it but the difference between a %300 markup on a $1 chip vs. a 10% markup on a $100 is my sticking point. My concern is that I have/will made trade offers assuming that a live $1 chip=$1 and a live $5 chip=$5 when the other chipper assumes, given that other chippers have agreed in the past, that a live $1=$3 & live $5=$7. If these are the de facto rules so be it. I'm not trying to cause any problems I just want to understand.
Ross, thanks for you input, it was a pleasure meeting you in Atlantic City.
