have been very helpful. I will spend some more time over at the club website. I wonder how many of the people who don't renew are still involved in the hobby but not so much in the club. I also wonder just how many collectors had purchased a copy of James' new book. I have noticed lately a lot of collectors online that are not affiliated with the club. I think if you could figure out how those new book sales are doing it would tell you a lot about the hobby. If there were
4000 books sold you could figure that there are a lot of collectors that are not affiliated with the club for one reason or another. If sales are at the 1000 mark we could understand the current interest compared to the last printing at the same given time. Any thoughts on this comparison. Like a few people have mentioned in posts lately... I too would like to thank all of the people on this board that contribute to the hobby by answering question for strangers that happen to find their way onto this bb. For a lot of people, their first experience here is their introduction to the organized hobby and the club.
