Re: The majority of payments for renewals & new

I think voting online is a good way to save money in the long run.
I'd like to receive emails now and then from the club keeping me up with business.

I like the Magazine as is. It is a real document. We would loose a lot to go paperless with it.
Everyone does a bang-up job with the magazine, I really look forward to each issue.

We need to look toward new fundraising possibilities for the club to survive if we are loosing members.
I want to know about strategic planning for our future. It is key.
I've always said if you promote the hobby you will have no problem with new membership.

Grants, Grants, Grants... seems like our mission falls under some sort of historical preservation.
As a not for profit, we should be writing for city, state and national foundation grants including cap grants
to buy a home for the MOGH.

Is anyone familiar with the neon museum and their budget?
http://www.neonmuseum.org/about.html

It is a 501C3 and they have a current capital campaign. I'd bet they receive a lot of public support. I've never been there but seems like we have a lot in common with their mission.

Quick question for the board members who read this BB, Is there anywhere where we can see numbers of our
past membership compared to now and identify trends? Are numbers going down? Why. Do we ask members who don't renew why they choose not to?

I'd like to help out where I can.
