Let the Englishman throw his tuppence in vbg
In Response To: Why I hate online poker ()

From what Ive seen on your posts on online poker in the past year or so, and your comparisons to live games, I would point out two things.

Seems that on-line, you are playing at limits and entry fees way way smaller than you would ever find in a live game. Hence you are seeing a showdown in 90% of hands, compared to 25%-33% in live games. There is simply not enough $$ at stake for you to be able to bully people out by going all-in pre-flop. That explains the bad beats and 'miracle' hands you see that in a live game would never have got that far.

Couple that with the 100 hands an hour online vs 35 live and you are seeing 10 times as many river cards as you would live.
