The last two times I was out in Vegas (May and July 2008) I noticed several casinos had very little action on the casino floor. The Bellagio looked like a ghost town.

Here's what I have observed....I went to Mystic Lake Casino here in Minnesota and it was JAMMED with people playing blackjack and slot machines. This was the middle of the week. This casino has recently expanded thier operations to accommidate all the play. The Black Bear Casino also in Minnesota has rebuilt almost all of that casino this year.

I believe its time for Vegas Casinos to start kissing ass like they did 15 years ago. Lots of comps.....Free Airfare....Better service....Knowing your name...Free Dinners.....Free Shows to show the public how much they need the business. I saw this coming for a long time. My first experiance in Vegas was in 1987.....I was treated like a king. I had maybe 300.00 to spend. Stayed at the Imperial Palace and thought I died and went to heaven when I saw the car collection.

I think most people that gambled still gamble but spend thier money at the local casinos because they choose not to fly to Vegas because of SOME of these reasons I mentioned.

I still enjoy my stays in Vegas.....I like most of the new sites and things to do......But most of all I miss the great service from many years ago.
