It is not a matter of trust...

But a matter of cost for me. If you are selling $100 or $1000 items then Paypal probably isn't a concern. If you are like me and use Ebay to get rid of duplicates of inexpensive poker chips or $1 casino chips then it is a huge deal since they now require you to have a merchant account and have to pay the $.30 initial cost plus the 3% or whatever it is now. After paying 10% in Ebay fees there is no way you can afford to pay another 10% in paypal fees.
