Never heard of that in any casino.

The chip Wayne has is called a "Promo Chip" Thats what we call it and thats what gaming calls it.
It is played exactly as Barry described.
The casino credits these chips off at 1/2 value on the chip. $25 chip = $12.50. Casinos win 1/2 of all bets.
We give them out from 25 up to 10,000 denom.
