Kurt, it's the UPS Store...

...franchise that is the problem. That Store won't be open to accept mail from the USPS on a regularly scheduled USPS delivery day. I don't fault UPS, the company, I fault the UPS Store franchisee. They wouldn't even have to be open for business to have someone there to accept USPS mail at the back door and put it into PMB's. I have a key to the front door of the Store to access my PMB when they are closed. Any calls to UPS would be fruitless, as I'm sure the Store owner already told the USPS carrier to put all deliveries to that Store on hold until Wednesday. I'm sure the Store owner was just trying to be generous with time off for employees after their busiest season of the year, but that is no excuse for not taking care of prepaid customers with their own time. I've owned several businesses over the last 30 years, and some circumstances require the owner to do the grunt work normally done by employees. The Store owner will not like our conversation when I get home.
