I think I ended about 5 or 6 auctions in the past when I was asked to. Each time I wrote eBay explaing that a buyer (the same person on all the auctions) requested I do so... and I explained that each time I listed the item it was well in excess of $1,300, and if I should send them their fee. I explained that the buyer would offer $1,100 for the chip; I would accept, and he would buy 2 or three more at that level. Their response has been the same each time; that they had no problem with this, along with explaining that I would not be able to leave any feedback... They seemed to stress this point about the feedback each time and didn't seem to care about their fees. Strange!
