you should be shot vbg

With an A-2 in the cutoff why wouldn't you have raised to try and win it right there? You allowed people to see cards...especially those other Ace/baby kickers, and were just asking for trouble.Let's face it...if an Ace hits the flop, what are the chances that one or more of the other players has you beat right there? Your kicker was a 2!
Yes,you hit the flop but now you do not know where you stand and any Ace out there which later pairs the board puts you in a horrid situation.
Obviously you were playing against people who love their aces,so you were asking for trouble.
Betting the pot(or perhaps a bit more than half) after the flop was not a bad idea to see where you stand, BUT...after those reraises you should have known that things were probably not going to work out for you.
Once that button raised you after the flop, and then a call,I would have let it go unless I had a ton of chips in my stack. We do not know all of the particulars because you do not list all of the other stack sizes so I cannot visualize what the other players are thinking.
I think that you made a mistake by not raising pre flop with such a weak kicker.Even if you get a couple of callers,at least you would have been on your guard a bit more and could have released your hand.
