Funny You should mention this

Not funny HA HA funny. Funny strange kinda funny.
At Davids house for the Chicagoland chip meeting,
I mentioned (in a round a bout way)
in a long conversation to his wife Denise,AFTER I retire,
That I planned on having as much fun selling my collection
as I had accumulating my collection.
Let others new to the hobby, enjoy what I have over 30-40 years.
Yes, I may hang on to selected chips or just stick to build one area of chips but,
most I would sell.I told Denise, as she listened intently,
My wife has been in formed she could pass the collection to the kids
if they show interest,at 8 and 12 years old, they have chips of thier own!
Denise laughed and said that sounded good, but,is easier said then done! I agreed!
In case of an un-timely death, my wife could contact Doug for an auctiion,
sell on chip board first, sell on ebay.
If she has questions she knows she can contact any one of close chipping friends I trust, for questions or answers.

Yes, it has come up, and it was discussed in our family and Denise listened to what I had to say but,
I NEVER mentioned to her about Davids chips. I thought that would be rude.
As to Kens idea about the Club have a service or something...I like this.
A list perhaps of contacts, or ideas for ones widow or loved ones.Ideas for them, at the least,to to do or where to go.
I might even volunteer for that brain storming session.
Just my thoughts, Rick
