Let me add my 2 cents worth.

In case nobody has said it, collect what you like, and don't go at it as an investment. To many variables can bite you on that road. I collect some LEs (ones that catch my fancy), but primarily $1 chips with a preferene towards Nevada.

More thin gs that probably got missed above , join the CCGTCC, it is a ball of fun, and great folks. The convention is a blast, and the club mag is worth the price of membership (IMO). There are books out there that help, but I am unaware of any book that is dedicted solely to LEs.

This board is very like a neighborhood bar. We talk (and argue) about everthing. But we love chippin and when that topic reigns we are all as happy as kids on xmas morn. So feel free to jump right in.

One last piece of advice, there are numerous web sites that can be helpful. If you go up above and hit the Chipguide button, it will lead you to several (including Hegge's). But also look in at Andy Hughes site (nevadacasinochips.com), David Sprague's site (marlowcasinochips.com), and Tyrus Mulkey's site (tyrusrex.com). You mentioned 4 queens, the experts on that subject has to include the general, Chuck Smorse.
