OK...I am new to this hobby so please be gentle(but not that gentle).I have recently made the mistake of vacationing in Vegas for 6 weeks.I say mistake because I am now caught up in the chip collecting hobby!
I have a couple of thoughts and questions:I have begun to collect special/limited edition chips and have had a couple of collectors tell me that they are not worth collecting as the "real money" is in the collecting of old or OBS chips.
I am not in this hobby to make money.I am here just to collect something that I really like and I would like to know how you people feel about LE'S?
Also,as a new collector I am always looking for chip info and books but I notice that there seem to be no books about LE'S.Is there something out there....a catalogue perhaps that shows all of the LE'S made during the past ten or so years which seems to about the time the "craze" took off?
As a long time collector of assorted other things of which the list goes on and on,I am always looking for advice as to what you "pros" would recommend to a new collector like me.
And finally:I happen to like the Four Queens chips and am wondering if there is a list of all of the LE'S of their $1.00 chips anywhere on the net.The Chip Museum page seems to not have any from that casino.
Enough rambling......please help if you can.
