Thanks for offering scans of the entire chip(s).

I found this to be a very interesting question and was looking forward to seeing the responses from the club members. I was hoping to see more responses - if you are reading this, please consider sharing your thoughts.

By looking at the original partial scan, I found it very difficult to make a choice between the 2 chips. Seeing the entire scan, in this case, I would strongly favor the cleaner chip (on the left) with the big rim nick. I guess the analysis on this is subjective, but I find that chip to be a good amount more appealing overall (even though I would generally stay away from most chips in that condition).
