Re: NCR - Movie Paper 2
In Response To: NCR - Movie Paper ()

I live in a historic neighborhood that features perhaps fifty craftsman style homes, bungalows up to some three story jobbies. My place was built in ’33 and one nifty feature of those days was picture molding. Instead of marring the plaster with nails, you hang pictures from a picture hook clipped onto the molding. Set aside a day or two trying to find these clips! Aah, modern times. grin

These are some of my Las Vegas Story lobby cards. I’ve got two others from this golden turkey but I’m afraid to spoil the symmetry I achieved with this arrangement, shoot, I got lucky and flopped the nuts when I hung these! More stuff on the mantle and there’s my Cincinnati Kid dvd sitting on top of the player.

Mantles are pretty handy for collectors. My intent was to rotate various items but just seems like not much gets rotated, just stacked here and there, oh well. Among the forebears and progeny we’ve got a primo piece with Abbot and Costello, the Ace I got Annie Duke to sign, a kachina, Shooter and Lancey Howard, and J. Russell and V. Price at The Fabulous in Las Vegas. Also old ccgtcc member cards, casino matchbooks and slot cards. One of these days I’m gonna get organized, no really.
