I did not at any time run an auction for the chip in question.
The post you saw was in jest.
Skip made a bid and I emailed him at once, there was not an auction. I gave the chip to Skip at the convention free of charge.

The fact that you want to punish YOUR club for something another does is pretty small minded IMO.
Sounds like you were out looking for a reason to not donate. I'm sure you can find another goat next year, to blame.
