Young children (of our 'members') browse this board from time to time and some of these posts are unacceptable. Posts that have been deleted have contained obscene images & links, and obscene sexual innuendos. I am not referring to real 'spam' or 'troll' posts, but to those posted by regulars here.

Then we move to real 'spam' and 'troll'. When these messages appear, thankfully, they are usually deleted almost instantly and hardly anyone notices them. However, if you were to view either board at, say, 3am to 5am your time (yes I know YOU should be asleep) then quite often you will see maybe 20 of these messages usually advertising obscene sites, drugs & cigarettes. It happens more often that most people would be aware, including both this morning and yesterday morning.

If only one person had the power to delete (Greg) then he would have to be available and viewing the board 24/7.

I dont disagree with your overall opinion (which you are entitled to ) but I can understand its impractical.

What annoys me is when one poster then decides to remove all his posts from a heated debate and leaves the remaining posts being meaningless and the posters looking stupid.
