In Photoshop - or even photoshop elements you have to go to the file|import menu. Then you will see all the TWAIN drivers you have in your system. In my case I have a camera and two scanners. Select the Epson and the epson capture software should start. Then do a preview (if you want) but when you do a scan and close it the image should be in photoshop available for whatever manipulation (crop, rotate, etc) you want.
