.....yes, if only this new Epson fancy schmancy scanner came with Twain software! But alas, the new lame software that comes with the scanners doesn't have a fraction of the control.

With the "Epson Scan" software, I can not export the image scan onto another program at all. I have to save it, and then open it again with the other graphics program. How lame is that !

I'm seeing if I can download the Twain software from www.download.com and then use it with the Epson 4490 Photo. Don't know if it'll work yet. Stay tuned.

Mark, I may need to call talk with you on the phone. I'm sure you can eliminate my learning curve with Twain.
