So what about San Remo/Hooters? It is not 'on' the Blvd, but sits right next to the Flamingo.

Stupak claimed to have 'extended' the strip with his predecessor of the Stratosphere. I may be mistaken, but the stratosphere may actually be within the city limits of Las Vegas.

The Hilton (in its various incarnations) has always been regarded as a 'strip' hotel-especially back in the days of Elvis.

These are the things that keep coming to mind.
