Also here's a memory suggestion. Painful but cheap.

Go to rummage sales and look for used computers. I bought one with 256 mb of chips, for $20, pulled them, grabbed some cables, parts and the hard drive, and threw the rest into the dumpster.

Church sales are the best for used computers. Got one for a dollar, but they made me promise to take everything.
