I agree - defintely ask for a host. We have called the same host at Bally's/Paris for several years now - my wife and I play $10-$20 stakes on various table games (even the slow moving Pai Gow if we want to chill out and chat with the other players) and always get offered 2 or 3 nights free in advance (staying 5-7 days) and rarely have to pay for anything other than phone calls. We play seperate cards and on the old Park Place system used to ring up $300 on average on each card in the week and you only had to use that against the extra days, not the first days that had already been comped.

Not sure if Harrahs will change all this, but with the same host my mother & step father have already been given 3 days free against an 8 days trip next year, so seems all is the same (so far).

And as a tip to everyone, maybe our small gift to our host when we visit (a nice bottle of something or something specific to the UK as he kinda likes anything English) sure can't hurt. We bring something as he's a really nice guy, after all he saves us up to $1000 on each trip with decent rooms and food comped. And I'm sure he has bigger players to look after than us, but is still one of the friendlest guys in Vegas!
