The easiest way to find out what any particular casino expects for room comps or full RFB is to ask a casino host. You can do that over the phone before making a reservation. ...and it does vary greatly. Most downtown and locals casinos will comp rooms at $25 table games play while some upscale strip and off-strip casinos require 4 times that amount.

It's hard to tell what affect the mergers have or will have on some properties. When I was flying to Vegas once a month, the Park Place properties were the most generous with comps from my experience. The last time I stayed at the Paris, they gave me a corner petite suite on the 28th floor. The website rate on that room at the time was $750/weekend night. They charged me something like $12 for local phone calls, and that was it. I was playing their French roulette wheel at $120 to $400 a spin, and winning! That's the beauty of comps, they don't care if you win, they just want you there betting! grin
