Hard Rock was similar.

With certain levels of players they would comp the room based on the play of the current trip. It used to be based on your past trips. I do not necessarily agree with it, but they did it for a reason. It was usually excplained to the player by his/her host before they got there, that if they did not play enough they would get charged for the room. Now I do not know the play in your situation, but they (the Hard Rock) did this for one reason. They were having problems with big players with high credit limits (and high expectations of play) getting comped for a room at the Hard Rock and then spending their whole time playing at another casino. They would see, based on their player's card, that they barely set foot in the casino. The Hard Rock would rather comp that room to someone who will have to play in order to get the room.

By the way I have a $100 Hard Rock Who on Ebay.
