Allan, you sort of skirted the issue. When I bought the tiger I was told by one of the collectors on your list that my chip was originally a $50. I was also told that every piece found was the same --- all $50s were recarved into tigers.

The point is that the "experts" deemed that since the recarving was not recent, they were, therefore, not fakes. The same holds true for the Goldfield chip.

BTW, you listed the 4 collectors who all agree that the Goldfield chip is a recarve as if to refute what I said. I originally said it was a recarve. However, I bet all on the list of experts (yourself excluded) would agree with me with respect to pricing.

What do you think Kenny thought of the Grossblatt chip that you sent him. Do you really believe that recarve or not, I could ever pry it from him, no matter the price?
