My main collecting interest is $1 chips. I file those in binders by state then alphabetically by casino. Some areas (Nevada, Mississippi are also sorted by city). Indians, Riverboats, land based casinos all go in the state binder.
$5 LE are filed in the same way in another set of binders. I only collect a few categories of LEs.
Illegal casinos are also by by state in another set of binders.
I also have binders for monograms and fraternal organizations. Unidentified chips are in 100 chip racks.

I have two 500 chip chip cases for $1 traders I can carry to shows / trade sessions. LE, other denomination, obsolete, higher value traders are in binders for easier display. The remaining duplicate traders are in two piece 100 count chip racks sorted the same as the collection.
