In Response To: Re: What's it worth to YOU? ()

James

Note first that at no time did I suggest your book was 'out of date', 'obsolete' or other grin, merely that I thought that your values had on occasion been used 'to unfair advantage' by others. I have a well thumbed copy that I use regularly.

I seek you thoughts on one of the specific items having recently been discussed and ask, if you saw offered for sale a $5 Horseshoe in well used condition with a statement 'valued at $100', would you think this is fair?

I look forward to your new edition. You may or may not know that many of my european customers use your book rather than TCR as it is readily available in the UK through Amazon, and as such the cost including shipping is half of TCR.

I use 'both' catalogs for reference but avoid stating any values unless I am asked.
