you are opening a whole new discussion when you bring up New Jersey's redemption rules on "Closed Casino Chips". Can an argument be made that in New Jersey there are really no obsolete chips (collector value but no cash value) based on the fact that closed casinos are required to deposit a like amount of money with the State to cover the value of "all" of the "outstanding (uncashed) chips" of that "closed" casino? I'm curious of what some of the experts think.
