Jim; Many of the old Castaways chips had a gold ZAB hot stamp applied to the center inlays. I know of many cancellations that were removed (pre-Whalen) and one could hardly tell the difference unless the chip was tilted at a certain angle where a very slight hardly noticeable depression would be visible where the hot stamp was removed.
