My TWO CENTS.

When Chris and I started to sell chips from the auctions we had gone to I immediately adopted the CCGTCC standard of NEW, AVERAGE, etc. I truly believe that that is about as accurate as we should get.

I have purchased chips at the cage that I have seen taken out of unused containers with the manufacturers dust still clinging to the chips. Thats is "NEW" to me but not "MINT" or "UNCIRCULATED" although I probably could claim either in my auctions. It's a lot safer to MEASURE the chip you are selling conservatively BUT probably less of a MARKETING concept if you use "NEW", "AVERAGE", "SLIGHTLY USED", "USED" and "WORN" instead of MINT....

I'd always rather the buyer be able to see my chip, look at my claim of condition and say, "that's just about right!...
