sad Lesson Learned...

Eleven days ago, I responded to a post on this Board for a trade. The trade was agreed upon and I mailed my end of the trade the next day and the person emailed me that he would do the same. As of this afternoon, no mail. Early today, I emailed him that I hadn't received the tokens and asked when they were mailed, on the chance that the USPS is going slow. I then noticed that he posted a short while ago on the Strikeboard, so it has to be assumed that he hasn't been kidnapped by aliens. Since he posts and makes trades, I figure he reads his email. I wrote him again and asked that he return my strike if he's not going to mail my tokens. He doesn't seem to want to respond to my email. Since the correspondence took place off this Board, I have no "proof" of the transaction other than the emails I saved. This person is a member of the Silverstrikers, so I assume he's also a member of the CC>CC. Has anyone else had a similar experience? So, at the worst, I'm out a strike. It does kind of take some of the fun out of trading...
